Qualifications

• BS required for the PA role.
• MS preferred to enhance qualifications.
• Physician's Assistant program preferred.
• NYS licensed and registered PA required.
• NCCPA certification required; BLS/ACLS/PALS certified.

Responsabilités

• Obtain patient histories and perform physical examinations.
• Order and/or perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Formulate diagnoses and develop treatment plans.
• Monitor effectiveness of therapies and adjust as needed.
• Assist at surgery and provide patient education and counseling.
• Make referrals as appropriate and emergency care if required.
