Job summary

TPEG, Inc. is seeking a Registered SUD Counselor to provide ongoing assessment, treatment planning, and discharge planning for clients. You will integrate case management and weekly reviews to ensure quality care and satisfaction, with on-call flexibility for emergencies and schedule changes.

The role supports continuity of care and aligns with DHCS guidelines, requiring strong leadership and collaboration with the Program Manager. Evening shifts and on-call duties are included.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Licensure: Current drug and alcohol credential through a DHCS-recognized institution.
• Experience: 1–3 years as a case manager.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Other: Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete admissions/intakes for new clients.
• Assess and recommend level of care.
• Crisis intervention and aftercare planning.
• Document daily progress and group notes.
• Coordinate admissions and discharge with Program Manager.
• Attend mandatory meetings and trainings.
