• Demonstrated judgement in problem solving, decisions, handling complaints and disputes.
• Desire and ability to lead and manage associates across multiple departments.
• Department Manager or equivalent experience required.
• College degree or equivalent preferred.
• Must be accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or have the ability to attain accreditation within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage retail operations during the evening hours and make decisions impacting store associates, merchandising quality and customer service.
• Build associate and customer relations and promote a strong culture in support of Hannaford Strategy.
• Ensure store conditions involving appearance, security, safety and food safety are maintained at the highest level.
• Accountable for proper control of company assets.
