Qualifications

• Good judgment solving problems and handling complaints.
• Ability to lead and manage associates across multiple departments.
• Must meet minimum age requirements and physical requirements.
• NRF or similar accreditation as a 'Certified Food Safety Manager' or ensure accreditation within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Hire, train, and develop associates.
• Manage performance through coaching, appraisal and disciplinary actions.
• Provide leadership to promote Food Lion's guiding principles and values.
• Ensure proper control of store funds and assets.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions and ensure safety compliance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and food safety standards.
• Utilize tools like ACIS, scheduling, ordering, and reporting systems.
• Support achievement of store budgets and financial results.
• Maximize sales through customer service and reduce losses through standard practices.
