Qualifications

• Credentialed: passed a nationally accredited central service exam and holds CRCST or CSPDT credentials.
• Strong attention to detail with demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
• Grand-fathering: evidence of Central Service Technician employment in a healthcare facility for 1 year between 2011 and 2015.

Responsibilities

• Processing and supplying sterile goods and equipment to all hospital areas (decontamination, cleaning, packing, sterilizing, storing, distribution).
• Ensure appropriate supplies are used in sterilizing items; collect and clean soiled equipment, machines, carts and shelves.
• Transport needed supplies, medication and equipment throughout the hospital.
