Rochester Regional Health in Rochester, NY is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech for the evening shift (3pm-11:30pm), part-time, 20 hours per week. You will process, sterilize, and distribute sterile goods across the hospital, supporting safe procedures.

Qualifications include CRCST or CSPDT credentials and demonstrated attention to detail and strong communication. The role requires ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment at Rochester General Hospital.

Qualifications

• Credentialed: passed a nationally accredited central service exam and holds CRCST or CSPDT credential.
• Strong attention to detail with demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
• Hard to Fill Clause: facility may employ someone who does not meet requirements if qualified technicians are scarce.

Responsabilités

• Processing and supplying sterile goods to all hospital areas (decontamination, cleaning, packing, sterilizing, storing, distribution).
• Sterilization: ensure proper supplies are used; collect and clean soiled equipment, machines, carts and shelves.
• Distribution: transport needed supplies, medication and equipment throughout the hospital.
