Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in San Diego is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for a 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM shift. You will ensure proper maintenance and distribution of disposable supplies and durable medical equipment used in patient care.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited SPD program within the last 12 months; CSPDT is preferred. This position operates under a SEIU-UHW contract, with sign-on incentives for new hires.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent; Sterile Processing Tech experience within the last 12 months.
• Graduate of an accredited SPD program within the last 12 months.
• CSPDT certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper maintenance and distribution of supplies and equipment for patient care.
• Accurately document load contents, labeling, and testing results.
• Communicate shift information and issues to supervisors and staff.
