Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• CRCST or CBSPD certification; provisional acceptable.
• 400 hours of hands-on training required before provisional certification expiration.

Responsabilités

• Follows proper procedures for biological monitoring of sterilizers and maintains records.
• Performs decontamination, sterilization, and preparation of instruments and equipment.
• Restocks crash carts and exchanges supplies; handles proper supply distribution.
• Prepares surgical instruments and ensures proper handling of contaminated items.
• Operates Washer Decontaminator and Sterrad Sterilization System; understands equipment compatibility.
