Job summary

Advocate Health's Milwaukee facility is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to join the Sterile Processing Services team. The role supports infection control by sterilizing instruments, assembling trays, and delivering case carts to the operating room.

You will train staff, coordinate daily workflows, and maintain quality assurance, with a 40-hour week, evening schedule 1500-2230, and benefits as described.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a resource to employees, providing training and day-to-day guidance.
• Assists with interviewing and staff development, providing performance feedback.
• Monitors department operations, schedules, and daily work assignments.
• Sterilizes instruments and ensures sterility of supplies; maintains quality checks.
• Delivers case carts to operating room and responds to sterilizer issues.
