Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support patient care by reprocessing surgical instruments and maintaining strict safety standards. The role is 100% FTE with a 40-hour week on an evening shift (3:00 pm–11:30 pm). PPE is provided in compliance with OSHA and AMMI standards.

The position offers career ladder advancement within the Reprocessing Department, comprehensive benefits, and tuition reimbursement eligibility after one year of employment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Certification by CBSPD as a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (preferred).
• IAHCSMM as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced environment requiring detailed, technical skills.
• Contribute to keeping patients safe through proper reprocessing of instrumentation.
