Job summary

Canam Steel Corp in Washington, MO is seeking self-motivated candidates for a full-time Production role on 2nd shift (4:00 PM - 12:30 AM) with OT and some weekend work. Pay includes base rate, overtime, retention and production bonuses, with potential earnings up to $66K per year for a 50-hour work week.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating machines to form steel components, tack welding, and maintaining production records. PPE provided and safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must read shop paperwork and drawings to properly set up machines.
• Must use tape measure, micrometer, calipers, etc.
• May assemble components by welding and operate related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines to cut, stamp, bend, punch or form steel parts.
• Tack weld steel components to fabricate finished products on an assembly line.
• Learn to tack weld and work safely on shift.
• Follow production records and maintain related logs.
• Support other duties as assigned.
