Job summary

Siemens Energy in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Stator Final Assembler B (Mon-Fri 4pm-12am) to support generator final assembly in a manufacturing setting. You will learn and perform operations, assist with rotor-to-core assembly, install bearings, pedestals, and use precision measuring equipment.

The role offers hands-on skill development, adherence to safety and quality standards, and opportunities to advance within the Gas Services division.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
4+ years of industrial-mechanical experience preferred.
Proficiency with shop tools such as grinders, sanders, drills, ratchets, and wrenches, with the ability to select the appropriate tool for the task.
Ability to use precision measuring equipment and perform basic math calculations while completing simple written forms.
Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds and pass hearing/vision testing.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without future employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Learn and perform all operations associated with the Stator Assembler B role.
Develop proficiency with tools and equipment used in generator final assembly.
Assist with rotor-to-core assembly and installation of bearings, pedestals, and other generator components.
Use precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions and assembly requirements.
Follow established safety, quality, and production standards throughout the assembly process.
Obtain and maintain fork truck and crane certifications to support assembly activities.
