Job summary

Waterloo Community School District CENTRAL MIDDLE CUSTODIANS is seeking a 2nd shift custodian to provide clean, safe, and efficient environments for the Central Middle and Stadium facilities in Waterloo, Iowa.

The position covers 8 hours daily with backup duties for stadium operations and event support; candidates must be able to lift, climb ladders, work in extreme temperatures, and perform all custodial tasks. Starting immediately, full-time employment with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Mobility and agility required for prolonged standing and movement.
• Ability to frequently lift and carry moderately heavy items and equipment.
• Comfort working outside in extreme temperatures; able to mow and clear snow when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of custodial work for the district.
• Supervise facility needs for school events and rentals.
• Work overtime for school activities and outside rentals.
• Act as backup when primary Memorial Stadium employee is unavailable.
