Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a dedicated individual to join the Specimen Processing and Accessioning team in Saint Paul, MN. The role supports the lab workflow during the 3:00pm–11:30pm shift, focusing on preparation, labeling, routing, and data entry of specimens to ensure timely and accurate testing.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, with preferred candidates having lab or specimen processing experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year or more of lab or specimen processing experience preferred.
• Healthcare or medical laboratory background helpful.
• Ability to work in a team environment and meet production goals.
• Proficient data entry and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to staging areas.
• Identify and label specimens accurately.
• Pack and ship specimens to testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.
