Job summary

LabCorp Oklahoma in Tulsa is seeking a Specimen Processor to join our team. The role supports accurate specimen handling, labeling, and routing to testing facilities.

You will prepare specimens, enter patient information, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The position offers weekday evenings with rotating weekends.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma and prefer 1–2 years in medical or production settings; strong data entry and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience in medical or production settings preferred.
• Comfortable handling biological specimens and accurate data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to staging areas.
• Accurately identify and label specimens.
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Resolve and document any problematic specimens.
