Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join our team in Memphis, TN. Schedule is Monday – Friday 7pm-11pm with rotating Saturdays. You will prepare specimens for analysis, unpack and route specimens, identify and label accurately, and perform data entry timely in a fast-paced lab.

Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma or GED. Preferred qualifications include 1 year or more of experience in lab, accessioning, production, or related fields, with strong attention to detail and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience in lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing, or warehouse is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas.
• Accurately identify and label specimens.
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples.
