Aegis Sciences Corporation is seeking a part-time Specimen Collector to perform at client sites in Freehold, NJ. The role focuses on collecting specimens, maintaining chain-of-custody, and accurate record-keeping for billing purposes under HIPAA guidelines.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, strong customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict confidentiality. Prior healthcare exposure is preferred, and basic computer/app skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with extreme confidentiality.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with emails, web navigation, and data entry.

Responsabilités

• Foster open communication between the client and Aegis Sales Management.
• Follow the SOPs for sample collection.
• Ensure integrity of each Chain of Custody and sample labeling/sealing.
• Verify insurance information for billing and electronic ELR submissions.
• Provide HIPAA-related compliance training and documentation as needed.
• Collect payments from patients where applicable.
