Job summary

The Senator Inn & Spa in Augusta, Maine is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to handle preventative maintenance for the indoor saltwater pool, hot tub, outdoor pool, steam room, saunas, and related equipment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance experience, can work a full 8-hour shift on a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, and is comfortable handling basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks. Join our team today.

Qualifications

Previous facility maintenance experience required.
Previous pool/hot tub experience required.
CPO certification strongly preferred.
Able to lift 75 lbs frequently.
Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on the indoor saltwater pool, traditional chlorinated hot tub, outdoor pool, steam room, saunas and related equipment.
Repair and maintain spa facilities and equipment across the property.
Respond promptly to guest service requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.
Keep all mechanical areas organized, clean, and safe; assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, tile and minor carpentry.
Test pool chemicals and adjust as needed; assist with lawn care and snow removal as required.
