Job summary

The Senator Spa Swim & Health Spa in Augusta is seeking a self-motivated Cleaning Attendant to ensure a pristine spa environment. Overnight shifts from after 8pm to 5am may be required, with duties focused on cleansing all spa areas to maintain a safe and welcoming facility.

Experience in facility cleaning is preferred, and applicants should be able to work evenings and weekends as needed to keep the spa spotless for guests.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Frequent walking.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 60 pounds (pool dry deck mats).
• Ability to see clearly with or without corrective wear.
• Have a basic comprehension of spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping all floors, including service rooms.
• Cleaning restrooms.
• Cleaning locker rooms, showers, saunas, and steam room.
• Dusting and cleaning all spa areas.
• Cleaning all mirrors throughout the spa.
• Cleaning pool mats and pressure washing walkways around the pool.
• Empty, clean, and refill hot tub as needed.
• Additional special and/or deep cleaning spa tasks as assigned.

Job Summary

Voted Down East Best of Maine two years in a row and Best of the Best in the Greater Augusta Area for well over a decade - The Senator Spa is seeking a self motive individual who is able to provide a variety of cleaning task to ensure the pristine condition of the spa from top to bottom!

Spa Cleaning Attendants are responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of our Swim & Health Spa. Our spa team takes pride in presenting a professional, welcoming environment to our guests, and our cleaning attendant will help us present a safe, pristine facility for all to enjoy!

Successful candidates will have some prior experience with facility cleaning, and will be available to work later evening shifts, to best clean the facility when it is unoccupied by guests.

Preferred shift coverage: Overnights, starting anytime after 8pm; ending by 5am.
