Job summary

Naniq Global Logistics, LLC is seeking a Manager on Duty to oversee an evening to early morning package sortation process in Hawaii. You will lead the sortation team, manage pallet loading onto trucks for delivery, and ensure compliance with client standards and TSA requirements.

The role requires flexibility for a 5-day week with weekend possibilities. The position reports to the General Manager and offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental, life, disability,

Qualifications

• Must be customer service oriented, friendly, helpful, and professional.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced and always changing environment.
• Must have the ability to manage people effectively.
• Must have strong management skills.
• Must be able to pass a background check for required badging.
• Excellent organization, communication (both written and verbal), and interpersonal skills required.
• Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Self-motivated, able to multi-task and work effectively under a minimum level of supervision in a fast-paced environment, strong problem-solving skills.
• Computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) required for email and customer reports.
• Must be able to demonstrate a consistent capability of working cooperatively with others in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Shift Leader role overseeing the sortation process to meet company and client standards.
• Manage and oversee subcontracted ramp operations.
• Ensure sortation team is trained to perform their roles.
• Ensure TSA requirements are followed by the team.
• Handle mis-sorts and damaged packages per procedure.
• Prepare and issue required customer reports on time.
• Report safety, security, and theft incidents; conduct daily safety briefings.
• Develop sortation team members for job progression and bench depth.
