Job summary

Complete Care at Harston Hall in Flourtown, PA is seeking a part-time Social Services Worker for 4:00pm–8:00pm shifts to support residents in a LTC setting. You will identify psychosocial needs, complete social histories, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote residents’ rights and wellbeing.

Prior long-term care experience and a BS in Social Work or related field are required. Must be able to work independently or with a group, build rapport with residents and peers, and

Qualifications

• Previous long-term care experience
• BS in Social Work or related field
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group
• One year of supervised social work experience in a health care setting working directly with individuals
• Ability to build and maintain rapport with residents and peers

Responsibilities

• Identify residents’ psychosocial, mental, and emotional needs.
• Complete Social History and Psychosocial assessment of residents.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team to promote and protect residents’ rights.
• Prevent and address resident abuse as mandated by law and professional licensure.
