Complete Care at Silver Lake in Dover, DE is seeking a Social Work Assistant for the day shift on a part-time basis. You will identify residents' psychosocial, mental, and emotional needs and work with the care team to support rights.

The role requires empathy, data gathering, and collaboration with interdisciplinary staff. Prior long-term care social services experience and a high school diploma are required; computer literacy is expected.

Qualifications

• Prior Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Experience in Social Services required.
• Proven ability to build rapport with residents and peers.
• Computer knowledge and basic data gathering skills.
• Strong collaboration with interdisciplinary team to protect residents’ rights.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents' psychosocial, mental, and emotional needs.
• Assist in data gathering and documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to promote residents' rights.
• Prevent and address resident abuse as mandated by law.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Social Services and Administrator.
