Job summary

North Shore Medical Center, Inc. is seeking an on-site Shuttle Bus Driver to transport patients, visitors, and staff between campus buildings and nearby lots.

You will follow scheduled routes, assist riders including those with disabilities, maintain safety standards, and report issues promptly. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of shuttle driving experience; RMV check required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Experience as shuttle driver 1–2 years required.
• Must pass RMV driving record check.
• Excellent driving skills and customer service required.
• Ability to assist passengers with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, courteous, and professional service to passengers on route.
• Follow routes and departure times; communicate with dispatch for detours.
• Operate vehicles per Fleet Safety Program and laws.
• Ensure adherence to passenger limits and safety.
• Assist passengers with disabilities in boarding and disembarking.
• Report emergencies or concerns to Supervisor/Dispatcher.
• Transport passengers to destinations while following traffic laws.
• Adhere to scheduled shuttle routes set by Manager/Dispatcher.
