Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk in Northlake, USA. The role handles customer service, data entry and documentation for orders, shipments and inventories, ensuring timely, accurate processing.

Shift is Mon-Fri 3:30pm-12:30am with a pay range of $18.00-$23.00. Requires a high school diploma and basic computer skills; expects attention to detail and strong communication for effective customer interfacing.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months.

Responsibilities

• Process all customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Generate all related paperwork and necessary information required for customer orders, checking orders for special requests and shipping paperwork.
• Coordinate special, last minute shipping requests with operation department, expediting any order as necessary.
• Prioritize customer orders according to scheduled pick-up time or pier cutoff.
• Furnish shipping and tracking information as required.
• Maintain a good working relationship with customers by responding to inquiries and reporting feedback to management.
