Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a shift associate to manually move product, pallets, and cages for shipping while assisting with paperwork and inventory. The role requires adherence to NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state, and federal laws. Training starts on day one.

Responsibilities include transporting product with carts, labeling, scanning pallets, and verifying paperwork, with a requirement to work nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior shipping/receiving exposure is a plus.
• Ability to work unsupervised and stay motivated.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shifts.
• Reliable, honest, and hardworking.

Responsibilities

• Transport product using hand carts and pallet jacks under supervision.
• Ensure product is labeled, stacked and wrapped correctly for shipping.
• Scan and track pallets from production to cooler.
• Verify and process required paperwork accurately.
• Assist with inventory counts as needed.
• Follow safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
