Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Shipping Clerk backup to support shipping operations and inventory control. You will process shipping paperwork, scan pallets, and ensure correct labeling, wrapping, and stacking of products in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Hatchery or relative poultry industry experience.
• Basic math functions and skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a backup/relieve Shipping Clerk and process shipping paperwork.
• Scan and track pallets from production into the cooler.
• Ensure all product is labeled, stacked and wrapped correctly.
• Follow directions and work with supervisors and coworkers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Work in other departments as needed and cooperate with team.
