Job summary

Sanmina is seeking a Shipping Clerk at our Houston, TX facility to prepare, package, label, and document shipments, and to keep inventory organized for timely orders.

The role requires basic computer literacy and experience with warehouse scanners or spreadsheets, plus the ability to lift 50 pounds and to communicate effectively with drivers and internal teams.

• Receiving & Inspecting: Unload incoming deliveries, count merchandise, and check items for damage or missing parts.
• Inventory Tracking: Update computer databases or logs to reflect real-time stock levels and organize warehouse storage.
• Communication: Coordinate with delivery drivers, freight carriers, and internal departments like customer service.

Job Purpose

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming products ready for shipment. Their duties include organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in, reviewing outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations and documenting damages to inventory.

Nature Of Duties
