Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven welding experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Proficiency in MIG welding; TIG or Flux-Cored a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and weld symbols.
• Current welding certification (AWS or via internal test) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and use of precision measuring tools.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and promote CDI values.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding of metal components per blueprints and work orders.
• Weld assemblies using various techniques as specified by drawings.
• Prepare materials by grinding, cutting, fitting and positioning for proper welds.
• Conduct in-process weld inspections to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and hand tools safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S principles and safety protocols.
