Job summary

National EWP in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Night Shift Fabricator to weld and fabricate handrails, walkways, decks, and related components. The role includes working 4:30 pm–3:30 am, five days on and two days off, with a strong emphasis on safety and precision.

The ideal candidate will have MIG/TIG/ARC welding experience, the ability to read blueprints, and proficiency with CNC plasma, brake press, and waterjet. Lift requirements and pre-employment screening apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG, TIG, and ARC welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of CNC plasma table, CNC brake press, CNC waterjet, and machining tools.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs and operate shop equipment safely.
• Pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and MVR required.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safe work practices and procedures.
• Repair and replace damaged or worn parts.
• Repair and fabricate damaged or worn parts.
• Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.
• Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges.
• Read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Weld broken parts and structural members using TIG, MIG, and ARC welding.
• Weld and fabricate items such as drilling-related parts like well heads, casing, landing plates, handrails, walkways, guards, etc.
• Fabricate needed parts or items as required.
• Exhibit a strong work ethic with the drive and desire to learn and perform tasks efficiently.
• Maintain effective and collaborative workplace relationships, treating others with dignity and respect.
