Job summary

Quirch Foods is seeking a warehouse picker for our Dallas-area facility. The role requires picking from a refrigerated/frozen environment with a focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, follow FIFO procedures and ensure proper packing for shipment. Responsibilities include stacking on pallets, scanning orders, and returning mis-picked items to correct locations.

Qualifications

• English reading/writing/comprehension required to read labels, pick lists and records.
• Experience in a warehouse environment using powered equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Familiar with CK31 and CK71 scanners is a plus.
• MHE and SQF certified preferred.
• Ability to work in refrigerated/frozen environment (0–36°F).
• Physical ability to stand, lift 20–100 pounds and move items repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions to pick products from a refrigerated/frozen warehouse.
• Operate forklift, electric pallet jack and related equipment as needed.
• Identify and select cases from inventory locations.
• Pick, palletize, wrap and scan orders using FIFO.
• Stack products in a specific pallet sequence for shipment.
• Maintain product integrity through proper handling and storage.
• Return undelivered or mis-picked items to correct locations.
• Move products to shipping area within time expectations.
• Adhere to safety rules and company attendance policy.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections on MHE and assist with warehouse duties.
