Lakeside Health & Rehab Center in Richmond, VA is seeking an experienced RN to step into an Evening Nursing Supervisor role. Lead the evening nursing team, ensure high-quality resident care, and serve as the clinical lead during the 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shift.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical assessment, leadership, and communication skills, with a commitment to resident-centered care and clinical excellence in a skilled nursing environment.

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license (Virginia) is required.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute settings preferred.
• Nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking abilities are essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Ability to lead and support a nursing team effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to resident-centered care and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff during the evening shift.
• Oversee delivery of safe, high-quality, resident-centered care.
• Serve as the primary clinical resource and leader during assigned hours.
• Support RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing team members.
• Respond to changes in resident condition, clinical concerns, and urgent situations.
• Collaborate with physicians, families, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Assist with staffing needs and ensure appropriate shift coverage.
• Ensure nursing documentation, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements are followed.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, communication, and a positive work environment.
• Provide hands-on clinical support when needed.
