Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is seeking a Full Time Shift Supervisor at Saint Mary’s University campus in Winona, MN. The role oversees shift activities and ensures adherence to policy and procedure while directing associates to meet production, quality and safety standards.

The position requires prior cooking and management experience, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 2:30 pm to 10:15 pm and pay of $19.00–$20.00 per hour. Free shift meals and a uniform are provided as perks.

Qualifications

• Prior cooking and management experience.
• Position requires the ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that the assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure are maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance of workers, reward high performers and discipline employees who fail to meet performance standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
• Act as contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Mentor employees, develop them, and encourage goal setting and advancement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
