Job summary

Yakima Memorial Hospital, part of MultiCare, is seeking a Staff RN for a 0.9 FTE, day shift with 12-hour rotations and rotating weekends. This hospital-based team uses a multidisciplinary approach to deliver nursing care and ongoing quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Washington State or MLS.
• BSN preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.
• One year of experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Utilize the nursing knowledge and experience to deliver care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and members of the health care team.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse backgrounds.
