Job summary

Nationwide-Children is seeking an RN for Evening Shift (3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.) with 0.6 or 0.8 FTE (24 or 32 hours/week) and every other weekend. Starting pay is $36.90/hr with $5 evening and $5 weekend differentials, with potential to float to other Behavioral Health units as needed.

The RN will provide family-centered care, assess patient needs, delegate and direct care, and maintain documentation in line with ANA and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Ohio.
• BSN or ASN with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years.
• Current CPR certification.
• Willing to obtain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON or other certification as determined by manager.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a family-centered approach.
• Assesses individualized patient needs and priorities.
• Plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using evidence-based practices.
• Documents according to organizational standards and procedures.
• Coordinates care with LPNs, PCAs, Unit Coordinators and allied health staff.
