Job summary

The Arc of Ocean County is seeking a Residential Assistant Supervisor to guide staff and support the daily operation of a community home serving adults with IDD. You will work with the Residential Program Manager, coaching Direct Support Professionals, and maintaining a safe, person-centered environment.

Starting pay is $25.00 per hour, with evening/weekend differentials and overtime opportunities. This is a full-time on-site role tied to Barnegat and Lacey, NJ, with paid training and growth

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Two+ years of residential experience preferred.
Valid New Jersey driver’s license with up to 5 demerit points.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to supervise employees and foster teamwork.

Responsibilities

Assist the Residential Program Manager with daily home operations.
Provide shift-level leadership and cover management when needed.
Maintain a safe, organized, person-centered residential environment.
Respond to operational concerns while ensuring continuity of services.
Support staff development and performance feedback.
