Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Drive the facility’s safety culture and ensure safety training for all employees.
• Identify and retain effective personnel through training and clear expectations.
• Develop and implement training plans for employees.
• Partner with the Manager to meet or exceed the department budget.
• Ensure compliance with SQF Food Safety Code, AIB GMP audits, and report safety issues.
• Manage sanitation standards and MSS program on a daily basis.
• Drive 5S implementation and sustainment across the department.
• Develop material standards and inspection procedures to improve quality and reduce downtime.
• Engage with staff to address concerns and questions.
• Drive KPIs and propose changes to achieve business objectives.
• Lead continuous improvement activities within the department and plant.
