Job summary

Safety-Kleen in New Berlin, WI is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to coordinate daily manufacturing operations and supervise staff to meet production targets, quality standards and safety regulations.

The role begins with a month of training on the first shift and then transitions to the second shift, Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, with overtime as needed. Health benefits, 401K, stock plan, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma plus specialized training or 1 year college (Manufacturing Business Management, Process Engineering)
• Alternative combinations of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
• Forklift Certification required
• Supervisor/Lead experience in a production or warehouse environment strongly preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices and policies.
• Ensure effective communication between production associates, leads and management, ensuring policies are adhered to.
• Lead, direct, evaluate and develop production staff to attract, develop and retain top talent.
• Maintain a positive work environment including personnel development, training, safety and housekeeping.
• Implement plans to minimize costs through efficient use of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.
• Ensure attainment of production schedules while meeting product standards and customer expectations.
• Collaborate with Production Manager to ensure product quality and on-time delivery.
• Suggest policies for security, maintenance, and operations and plan preventive maintenance.
• Assist in designing and installing equipment to improve plant efficiency and meet needs.
