Job summary

Judd Wire Inc., a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is seeking a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor for its Turners Falls, MA facility. You will oversee and control the assigned shift's manufacturing operations, coordinate shift activities, ensure production schedules and safety standards, and maintain security.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and basic math skills, plus 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and control the manufacturing activities for an assigned shift. Monitor operations and ensure procedures are followed.
• Respond to technical or operational problems and direct solutions with involved personnel.
• Prepare reports for rejected material, root cause, corrective actions and disposition.
• Maintain building, property and personnel security and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Enforce safety rules and keep work areas orderly.
• Monitor employee activity, assess performance and address disciplinary matters per policy.
