Job summary

Technique is seeking a Production Manager for our Jackson, Michigan facility to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency and cost-effectiveness. You will manage production teams, coordinate resources, and drive continuous improvement across all processes.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to ensure on-time delivery and achievement of production goals, while applying Lean, 5S, and Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience in fast-paced production environments.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP production planning systems.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma or similar CI methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop production teams – lead, manage, and develop production supervisors and staff.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities to meet customer demands.
• Ensure production lines operate efficiently while minimizing downtime and waste.
• Promote a culture of safety in line with OSHA and company policies.
• Collaborate with Quality to meet specifications and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor KPIs such as productivity, downtime, and delivery performance.
• Lead Lean initiatives like 5S and process-improvement projects.
• Prepare performance reports and support hiring and training.
