Job summary

F&M Plastics is seeking a 2nd Shift Supervisor to lead Oven Production and Secondary Operations. You will provide hands‑on leadership, coaching, and accountability for safety, quality, delivery, and productivity during the 2nd shift.

The role requires coordinating shift schedules, assisting the Supervisor Assistant, and working closely with the Production Manager and cross‑functional teams to meet customer delivery needs. Previous supervisory manufacturing experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Experience coordinating production schedules and staffing.
• Proficient in safety standards and quality control practices.
• Good communication across shifts and departments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all 2nd shift production activities in Oven Production and Secondary Operations.
• Direct the 2nd Shift Supervisor Assistant and foster a positive team environment.
• Coordinate daily production activities, staffing, and schedules to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Monitor performance and adjust resources to maintain efficient workflow.
• Oversee equipment setup, troubleshooting, maintenance coordination, and process improvements.
• Ensure quality standards through inspections and corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and 5S.
• Enforce safety policies and address workplace hazards.
• Collaborate with Production Manager and cross‑functional teams to meet delivery requirements.
