The role requires reading blueprints and operating multiple machines safely in a fast-paced environment. The position offers an evening 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 3 PM – 11 PM) with potential overtime, a starting hourly wage of $24.47 plus $1 shift differential, and opportunities for step increases at 90 days, 1 year,

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations for setups.
• Ability to read and use tape measure, micrometer, protractor.
• Strong hands-on experience operating machines.
• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
• High safety awareness at all times.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a saw to cut shafts per blueprint.
• Operate a forklift as needed to move material.
• Operate ironworker, press, saws, drill presses, cutting torch, grinder.
• Use measuring instruments to fabricate products.
• Understand material requirements per blueprints.
• Determine setup sequence within available methods.
• Operate hand-held grinder to finish parts.
• Load machine programs for product orders.
• Process material per shop drawings using designated machines.
• Troubleshoot operating errors and determine resolutions.
• Maintain material traceability.
• Minimize downtime with efficient task execution.
• Perform light maintenance on machines as needed.
