Job summary

Wilsonart is seeking a Supervisor to lead hourly production teams on the evening shift, ensuring daily output aligns with safety, quality, and cost objectives. You will manage inventory, set shift goals, and drive continuous improvement across KPI areas.

Responsibilities include coaching and developing team members, enforcing safety and quality standards, and collaborating with cross-functional groups to meet production schedules and performance targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 year of experience may substitute for 1 year of degree.

Responsibilities

• Organizes personnel assignments and training to meet daily production schedules while maintaining safety and quality requirements.
• Performs daily employee performance & attendance management actions.
• Assists in developing and orienting new team members.
• Drives and leads organizational strategic imperatives and initiatives.
• Implements improvement ideas by leveraging team members' feedback and suggestions on opportunities.
• Assists in developing a culture focused on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Communicates relevant business information, policies, and business updates to team members.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with other departments and organizational stakeholders.
