Job summary

You will partner with the unit Director to implement performance improvements, conduct orientation, and ensure high-quality patient care while maintaining regulatory compliance. The role is Full Time, Evening shift, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• California RN license current and valid.
• BCLS and ACLS certificates current at hire.
• NIHSS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years clinical nursing with supervisory experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports administrative responsibility for the department and collaborates with the unit Director/Manager.
• Develops and implements departmental plans including performance improvement activities.
• Oversees orientation and training of personnel and communicates with staff and physicians.
• Directs, supervises and evaluates staff; ensures efficient unit operations.
• Assists with daily operations and, when needed, direct patient care within scope.
