Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a hands-on maintenance helper to perform mechanical maintenance on plant equipment and participate in routine inspections. You will support repairs using a variety of tools while following strict safety procedures.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist in performing mechanical maintenance on plant equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic troubleshooting of machinery.
• Support repairs by using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with senior mechanics to learn repair techniques and best practices.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Must comply with all company policies and procedures.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
