Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking a Shift Manager / Manager on Duty to oversee operations at our client site in Beaumont, TX. You will work with the Management Team to ensure smooth facility operations and provide leadership during shifts. Responsibilities include member services, safety checks, and opening/closing duties.

Must have in-person customer service experience and CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days. Compensation ranges with location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of in-person customer service experience required.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• Strong interpersonal and accountability skills.
• Basic computer and point of sale systems knowledge.
• Pre-employment drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Greet, check in, and assist customers.
• Provide program and membership information.
• Assist front desk team.
• Conduct hourly facility safety and cleanliness rounds.
• Perform periodic inventory of equipment and merchandise.
• Respond to client requests and resolve issues promptly.
• Act as emergency situation lead and document incidents.
• Maintain and update participant and facility policies.
• Educate participants on policies and procedures.
• Open and close duties according to shift hours.
• Support member service desk tasks including phone calls and enrollments.
• Participate in events and membership drives.
• Collect membership fees and maintain related records.
• Perform other duties as needed.
