Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking a Group Class Instructor (substitute) to support the fitness team at our Beaumont community site in Beaumont, Texas. This on-call role leads energizing group classes when our regular instructors are unavailable—making a real impact on the health and well-being of the community.

The role requires current group exercise instructor certification from ACE/AFAA/NASM/ACSM/NETA/NCCPT or equivalent, plus CPR/AED and First Aid certifications within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
• Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.
• Lead energizing group classes when regular instructors are unavailable.
