Job summary

Novolex in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Machine Operator to safely run paper packaging manufacturing equipment and produce high-quality products per job specifications. The role runs 3:00pm–11:00pm, Monday–Friday, with a $21.80–$22.70/hour starting pay and a $1.00/hour differential for night hours.

Responsibilities include setting up machinery, following safety procedures, reading order sheets, and performing quality checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably with a high-speed process.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow all safety procedures
• Setup and operate machine and support equipment to convert paper into product per specifications
• Read and verify order sheets
• Understand print job requirements and quality issues
• Perform quality checks on finished products
• Complete daily production paperwork
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Responsibility for food safety and GMP’s
