Job summary

Novolex in Mt. Vernon, OH is seeking a Machine Operator to run and inspect production lines, set up machinery, and read orders. The role requires maintaining a clean, safe work area and adhering to safety rules while supporting daily production tasks.

The position offers a nights shift from 7:00pm to 7:00am with a 2-2-3 schedule and weekends on a rotating basis. Training on day shift is required for the first month, starting pay is $25.34 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or applicable work experience.
• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing work environment and machine operating.

Responsibilities

• Carry out production, inspection, packaging and machine operation duties.
• Read and verify line orders/dockets.
• Set up machinery and ensure all materials are readily available.
• Effectively monitor production equipment.
• Complete daily production paperwork.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations.
• Position will require going up and down permanent ladder structure.
