The Toro Company, producing Ditch Witch equipment, is seeking a Machine Operator I to operate one or more production machines such as lathes, mills, drills, saws, or plasma/cutters in a live manufacturing environment.

You will set up and adjust equipment, monitor performance, assemble components with hand and air tools, record production data, and possibly read blueprints. Evening shift available with starting pay $20.30/hour.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Familiar with and have basic experience using mechanical repair and assembly tools including wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
• Have reading, clerical, and basic math skills including understanding written instructions, maintaining production records, and calculating sums, differences, and fractions.
• Experience or training in welding, machining, mechanical repair, or metalworking machinery operation would be beneficial.

Mansioni

• Set up, adjust, and operate production equipment while monitoring the performance of the machine and carrying out operations in proper sequence.
• Set up fixtures, mount parts in fixtures/components, and perform mechanical assembly using hand and air tools.
• Use a computer to check the location, inventory, and routing of parts and maintain production records.
• May read information from blueprints.
