Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a manufacturing/production operator at our Houston facility. The role involves setting up and operating heavy machinery, reading blueprints and specifications, and ensuring quality building parts.

Training may occur on a day shift, with potential overtime as needed. We offer full-time employment with benefits beginning on day one, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some knowledge of a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
• Experience with side forklift, bander, nail gun, overhead crane, saws, stretch wrap machine, and various pneumatic equipment preferred, not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate heavy machinery to perform cutting, punching, forming, blocking, and processing operations.
• Knowledge of production techniques to produce quality building parts.
• Follow safety rules in a manufacturing environment.
• Operate computerized equipment and material handling equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and lubrication on equipment and tools.
